For me, the essence of knitting is how a single thread is transformed into structure, how quantity becomes quality, and how miles of yarn gain the power to create imagery. I am inspired by mathematics, exploring sequences, geometric shapes and randomness. I constantly search for new possibilities in materials, forms, colors and structures. Exploring the interactions of color plays a central role in my work. I ply my yarn, creating subtle transitions.

Knitting is less common in textile art, mainly due to its technological and textural nature, yet it resonates deeply with me as a form of expression. I really appreciate in the technique of knitting that it works with one strand, so that essentially all the stitches, all the components are connected, interlinked and emerge from the same, joint thread.
